How biotin helps you to grow your hair!
Biotin, also known as Vitamin H is a part of the Vitamin B-complex family, and it can be found naturally in a variety of foods that we consume. It is water-soluble in nature and helps in the production of keratin which is a special protein that increases hair elasticity, and protects the hair from drying. It also helps in making the hair stronger and thicker to give it a fuller appearance.
Biotin aids in the metabolism of fatty acids, amino acids, and also play an important role in the stabilization of blood sugar levels in the body. Amino acids which produced when biotin is ingested in our body. Amino acids are the main building blocks of any protein and since hair itself consists of protein, biotin is also referred to as a “catalyst” for healthy and strong hair. Biotin improves the overall quality of your hair, making them more lustrous, long and voluminous. It also helps in preventing hair from dullness and provides natural nourishment of the hair from root to tips and removing split ends by repairing damaged hair.
Consumption of biotin-rich food products, along with other nutrients, not only reinforces your natural hair cycle, but it also aids beautiful, healthy, and thick hair. Biotin is available naturally in several food sources but is also sold as a supplement for improving hair quality.
There are plenty of natural sources of biotin that can be included in our daily diets. These are:
✔ Eggs: Biotin is found in the yolk of eggs. It is available in good quantity but if boiled, the biotin levels decrease.

Most of these natural sources can be found easily and among them, eggs are the most versatile. Traditional methods of extraction of biotin from eggs involve heating or boiling the egg. Heating is known to reduce the biotin levels. Therefore newer technologies, like cold pressed mechanisms are more precise ways of extracting oil.
To bring biotin to the table, EYOVA has developed a product known as ‘EYOVA-Egg Oil’.
